Savorient publishes recipes and food writing for general interest. Please read the points below before cooking from the site.
Recipes are written for a typical home kitchen, but ovens run hot or cold, cookware conducts heat differently, ingredients differ by brand and season, and altitude changes how things cook. Treat times and temperatures as a guide and judge the food in front of you — visual and texture cues in each recipe matter more than the clock.
Where a recipe gives an internal temperature or a doneness cue for meat, poultry, seafood, or eggs, it reflects commonly published food safety guidance. Use a food thermometer where one is called for. Follow safe practices for storing, thawing, handling, and reheating food. If you are pregnant, immunocompromised, elderly, or cooking for young children, take extra care with recipes involving eggs, raw or undercooked ingredients, or long unrefrigerated resting times, and consult official guidance from your local food safety authority.
Ingredient lists describe what the recipe uses, not every trace that may be present in the products you buy. If you or anyone you cook for has a food allergy or intolerance, always read the labels on your own ingredients and check for cross-contamination. Recipe labels and categories on this site are descriptive, not certifications: we do not guarantee that any recipe is free of a given allergen.
Savorient does not currently publish nutrition figures. Any nutritional information added in the future would be an estimate produced by automated calculation, not a laboratory analysis, and could vary considerably depending on the exact products, portion sizes, and preparation you use.
